Why do we list them as R3 anyways? All other Renaults are also listed without an R. |

Renault used R until October 1965 or thereabouts - eg R4, R8 - then dropped the R, so just 4, 8. And there was never R16, R10, R12 etc. Renaultists can give more precise detail, but there was an early ultra-poverty R3 with closed third window like this and usually (or always??) in this grey.
