I don't think so. Front seems wrong and I don't think delahaye had that louvered bonner and marker light on top of the fender. -- Last edit: 2007-05-04 21:32:40 |

Reminds me a lot of the Talbot-Lago 150SS of the late thirties? |

Veritas maybe? This picture is a bit distorted. The front end could be an early '50s Lagonda but I am not sure if they did this body style. |

That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't find anything similar. It would be more appropriate because of the size, though (compare to the 4CV). But I think it's a coach built version based on the Simca Huit 1200 (look at the wheel). I know that Figoni & Falaschi and Pourtout made special bodies on Simca Huit, but they look different ![]() |

Really itching to know the name of this car. The closest match that I could find was this 1937 Peugeot 402 Cabriolet Coachbuilt by Pourtout. Very similar, except for the front section, the bonnet, and the fact that it's got a fin at the back and some extra chrome (and maybe a little bit longer than the subject car): The front section (i.e., lower headlamps, curved grille) is closer to another Pourtout-built Peugeot 402 - 1938 The Special Roadster This leads to believe that the car is most probably based on the regular 402 and that it may be one of the Pourtout-built cars ![]() |
