Big GM coupe - '39 Cadillac? |

It is indeed a 1939 GM coupe and with the apparently big squarish taillights mounted low on the rear fenders and rear license on the trunk it could be a Cadillac series 60 coupe 1939.Buick taillight blocks were smaller and LaSalle's different |

There was no Cadillac "Series 60" coupe in 1939. It has the wrong tail-lights for a possible "Series 61". I don't want to hazard a guess at the make and model from this fuzzy image but I think we can immediately eliminate the Cadillac. |

Since we agree it's a 1939 GM upper-level coupe, how about a 1939 Buick Century? Alternatively, it could be a 1939 LaSalle ... ... but the lower taillights of the Buick seem more like the picture to me. Thoughts? |
