According to wiki, yes the Eclipse was sold in Japan. "In Japan, the first two generations were sold at a specific Japanese retail chain called Mitsubishi Car Plaza." The car was a joint creation between Chrysler and Mitsubishi, specifically for the North American market. AS RJ Luna pointed out, all were made in the US. The Moskvitch has a plate from Moscow Oblast (though it doesn't return anything) so I guess this does too. M008OX90 is a '99. |
