Is it more likely to be a Series III, given how old a Series IIa would be by 2002? |

Maybe, but remember we're talking about a Land-Rover. If it's been looked after it could be a Series II, IIa or III. |

Seems thick sills so 62-68 S2a is safe. But some sympathy for the idea of S3 as it looks in good condition for age. |
