Never 745 as model name I think, just as chassis number. The change from 2/4/5 to 0 for last digit was done in the earlier 240-series. |

ya it has that stock grille in stpaulcarguy's link but sharona's had 740 turbo wheels fitted on it. it was a gold 1989 volvo 740 wagon. it was used by sharona fleming (bitty schram). some1 should submit a pic of it |

It's a "740 GLS" model, in one episode the badge is clearly visible on the taillgate. why is there no image anyway? this car is used in almost every episode for the first few seasons. |

in episode 2 of season 1 (Mr. Monk and the Psycic) there is a scene where monk is in a driveway standing right next to the volvo, and you can clearly see the badge on the back and it says 740 GLE. im pretty sure the same car is used in all the episodes... |

The car is reappears in season 6 episode 2 "Mr Monk and the Rapper". The Volvo with some debris on the hood is parked close to the victims limo that is blown to pieces by a carbomb. Although Sharona, who drove the Volvo 740 GLE 5BRJ522 is no longer a character in the series by then. |
