This is set during the Second World War, so the number plates are obviously wrong. :)

Where are they supposedly from? English?

Jersey, in the Channel Islands. Coloured plates (black on white at the front, black on yellow at the back) first appeared in the UK the late 1960s and became obligatory for new vehicles in 1973. I imagine that Jersey adopted coloured plates at around the same time.

1934 3 1/2 litre Bentley would be a reasonable guess. Not sure whose body is on it - there were many builders supplied bodies for these.

Better pic added. Same Bentley as in Pan's Labyrinth /vehicle_85689-Bentley-41-4-litre-1936.html Both movies filmed in Spain.

This is at the end of the film, some unspecified time after the war. 40s/50s.

This was my car, owned 1979-98. The next owner lived in Spain, but I have no details. The car is a Bentley 4 1/4litre, first registered Nov 1936. Chassis number B83HM. The original UK registration was ALR788. Colour black over blue. When I sold it there was a blue painted Ace Cornercraft spare wheel cover. The Bentley badge on the boot lid has been added by the next owner. There is no doubt about identity. I added the reflectors and rear lights seen on the back bumper.

I forgot to confirm that the coachwork is by Park Ward, only three cars with this ‘streamline’ style being built.
