@bux48. Found some really neat details about the Vectra. There is a timeline at the bottom for changes!!!!! The Vectra A was actually sold from 1993 (as a 1994 MY) to 1996; not 1995 like we thought previously! Vectra A 1994-1996 (debuted in September of 1993). Vectra B 1997-2005 (however, on that site it was released in February of 1996. With almost certainty (all the listed 1996 models I found were indeed 1997 by the plates) GM of Brazil released the Vectra B in Febraury as an early 1997 MY. @Gamer seems we found another instance where a car manufacturer started the MY way before normal (normal is September). Vectra C 2006-2011 (debuted in October of 2005 as a 2006 model). Link to "media.chevroleteurope.com" The Vectra B face lift in deed came in 1999 for the 2000 model year. The part I was wrong about earlier was the face lifted bumper came in November of 2001 for 2002. I thought the updated bumper was 2003. The Vectra C face lift was another early MY release. We have plated 2009 face lifted models on the site. this needs investigation. We may be able to narrow the 2006-2007 from 2008-2009. |

Very interesting, thanks! Wonder if a such detailed breakdown exists also for other models, since it is an official source..I'll do some research ![]() That's a very early MY indeed ![]() |

I think early MYs are the norm in Brazil. It's been noted before, almost like any car introduced in a year belongs to the next MY. |
