How??? That's an Impala SS! It would be obvious to anyone who actually watches the show or pays close attention to the details in another scenes of that particular setting. It was supposed to be a 1997-98 flashback. That's not a regular Caprice (because of door mounted mirrors), let alone a 1992 model. -- Last edit: 2020-09-19 19:32:14 |

This is an Impala SS, not what was previously claimed above inaccurately. The mirrors make that very, very obvious. Not to mention, other scenes showing the trunk. Interesting how they chose that as the car of a 90s drug dealer wife. 1994-96 -- Last edit: 2020-09-19 19:33:05 |

The mirrors do not make anything obvious other than the fact that it's either a 1991-1994 Caprice or a 1994 Impala SS. The dashboard makes it 1994, however we need to see the D-pillar corner to confirm Impala SS. |

Wrong. You can't even determine that theory of yours from this angle, in this photo LOL. The mirrors and other shots say more than enough. As usual you folks probably haven't even watched the scene itself and go off of one still. |

@carmaker1, instead of going on about there being other views if we watched the scene you could provide pictures by clicking on 'store pictures on the site' when making a comment. |

Carmaker1, I'm gonna say this, not to act like an admin, but just to give some advice. Maybe you shouldn't act so, how do I put it, salty when people make mistakes? You once said something along the lines of "people make mistakes here and expect to get praise for it". But, no. The people on this website come here to help identify cars in movies and stuff, because they like doing that. Not necessarily to get praise. Mistakes happen. Not everyone's gonna be able to pay attention to every detail, which is why other members will usually come by to point out those missed details and further help identify the vehicle. But when that happens, I personally don't think that anyone needs those somewhat condescending remarks, like the few you made above, for example. Just point out there was a mistake and leave it at that. No need to indirectly call people idiots. No need to say "this is too obvious", "anyone with eyes can see that", "that decision was pretty obtuse/lazy", "there is clearly a bias", and especially not "shut up, as if I give a hoot". And also, when you say the admins ignore you, no, they don't. You're not alone on this website. Do you know how many requests they get to change stuff per day? At any rate, a lot. So, nobody ignores you, there is absolutely no bias of any kind, it's just that your requests get lost in the crowd. -- Last edit: 2020-12-05 17:33:52 |
