The star of the movie, only second to Mitchum, and pipping Greer at the post.

I've always believed this car is 1934, can anyone verify the actual year? The movie is quite good, lots of action and humor along with the suspense. This movie was made around the time that Robert Mitchum was sentenced for possession of pot and did some jail time.

Ten years later - the Series 40 Buick was only introduced in May of 1934 and for the 1934 models there was no roadster. The line was continued for 1935 and included a roadster. The all-new 1936 models were introduced in September 1935.
