Correct model is 250 Europa. A unique car (0253/EU) built on a long wheelbase roadcar chassis. |

Agree it's [0253/EU], but different names online. Barchetta.cc say 212 Inter Touring Barchetta[/url] with photo of same car, but the individual page jumps to something else. Other sources agree 212 Inter and a well known example - "... one of the last Inters and the very last Touring Barchetta. It was delivered new to Henry Ford in 1952 with some very special features including the factory installed 225 2.7 litre engine which usually powered Ferrari's customer racers. The exterior was 'Americanised' with white wall tyres and exhausts in the rear fender. Ford's designers used it as one of the inspirations for the 1955 Thunderbird ." |

Total brain fade, 212 off course. There are several period photographs taken on the fishbone parquette of Henry Ford Museum, some even showing W. C. Ford sitting in it. Peculiar car, and sort of a sister to 0032/MT that was customized for Turin motor show in 1952 and then sold off to John Edgar in USA. ![]() |
