Plate info says 109" 4 cylinder. DVLA details for FBV 831S are:

Date of First Registration 01 01 1978
Year of Manufacture 1978
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2286cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type HEAVY OIL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available

Another Landie seen briefly at 17-12 in same ep - plate never shown properly but is a 63+ suffix of some sort AYx 43xx

For no logical reason, probably the same Landie turns up after 30-00 in S1 ep4 as a police vehicle in a totally separate plot:

Another (this time with bonnet spare wheel mounting) in S1 ep6, seen at 43-27

and then at 49-12

Interesting contradictions about version in plate info between check sites and DVLA - similar confusion evident at /vehicle_602225-Datsun-Patrol-1983.html - and again I don't understand how these data differences can occur from what should be a single primary database. Plate check sites give EFV 684S as 1978 Land Rover 109" 6 cyl, 3326cc, but DVLA says:
Date of Liability 01 08 1985
Date of First Registration 01 05 1978
Year of Manufacture 1978
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 2625cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker Y
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLUE
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available

Even if it's been re-engined, the data should be consistent.

And in 2nd thumb, what's the red sporty front in left edge? I wondered about a late Jensen Interceptor at first glance, but now thinking a Capri Mk3 without the grille insert. Any other ideas? Have plate-checked the issued xFV 294S permutations - nothing likely shows up, but there are gaps in B to K.
