Jag [XJ40]. I'm not going to attempt US date/name apart from it looks fairly new for film date but not top spec - no tints for instance. |

Did they have the Sovereign in the US? If not then I'd say this is XJ6, not Vanden Plas. |

1993+ by the integrated fogs. Sovereign was 1990-92. If you remember all XJ40s had rectangular lights after a certain point in the USA (this might have been 1993 as well). No (apparent) chrome strip makes XJ6 probable, but I'm not going to bet the farm on this one. |
