For the 7th season, Hunter got new co-stars, and a pair of brand new Crown Vics. Hunter's was silver, Darlanne Fluegel and her partners drove the beige one. Darlanne left mid-season (they killed her character off), and the new co-star Lauren Lane (best known from The Nanny) drove this car. This car was used from Ep. 7.01 on.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

The same car was used by both Darlanne and Lauren. Darlanne didn't have "partners" as she was supposed to be Hunter's new partner. But, according to tabloid and "gossip" columns at the time, Darlanne didn't like or get along with Fred Dryer much...so either she quit or was fired partway through the season. They then brought in Lauren Lane to finish the season out. Personally, I liked her much better on "Hunter" than "The Nanny". ![]() |

Her character didn't end up being Hunter's partner. He lead the task force she was part of (with officers Dorsey and Righetti). Hunter worked most of the time solo, or paired with any of the task force members. So sometimes the car was driven by Dorsey or Righetti as well. |

Technically this is true...she never did actually become Hunter's partner, like McCall had been (although they worked a lot together). But, originally she was supposed to end up becoming this...but supposedly Darlanne did not get along with Fred Dryer at all, so they either let her go or she walked out from the series, and they brought in Lauren Lane to finish the season out. |

Vin Number: 2FACP72FXMX101501. I always knew these (the 1991 LTD Crown Victoria's in the show) had to be real P72's, I'm glad I was able to find out that they were. |
