I'm not sure how this footage got into the movie, since the Freedom Rides happened mostly in late Spring and Summer 1961, yet this part shows 1962 and '63 Alabama State Trooper cars. Note the car right behind this one is a 1963 Chevy. This part may actually have been shot in Selma during the 1965 marches.![]() |

Not sure if it is possible to tell them apart but in this era Plymouth did a base model Savoy called the Fleet Special. Basically a Savoy with some features not included. Probably easier to call it a Savoy to avoid compicating the list of models. -- Last edit: 2012-05-28 09:10:01 |
