This looks like a 1 ton at least, not introduced until July 1917. The earlier T truck was only 7 cwt capacity and was an adapted car chassis, just a little pickup, plus it appears to have electric lighting in the picture, no dynamo on a 1912 T. The electrics for the ignition were provided by a flywheel magneto, a small battery and a trembler coil. The lamps would have been oil and acetylene at that date. Again, this is not a Ford. This is a real 2 tonner on a real truck body - Ford didn't make something like this. How do we know it is real anyways? |
