Truck,1 and a half ton, 4x4 Chevrolet G-4100/G-7100 Series...this one, being the cargo body would be part of a shipment with prefix numbers of Y and Z for 1940-41 production, so in the cargo body variant, its model would be YP-G4112..most would be built with cargo bodies for |Defense Aid and shipped to the UK and Russia who were the main users...the van body version would be retained by the UA Army and issued to the Signal Corps. |
