Unic taxi. Possibly 1912? http://www.thecnj.com/westend/2009/030609/wnews030609_07.html It is different to the 1908 models more often seen - http://www.flickriver.com/photos/tags/unic/interesting/ - certainly an eclectic mix of pics on that page!

I see that a very similar Unic taxi was used in the 1999 remake of thsi movie - /vehicle_144499-Unic-12-14-hp-1912.html

If this is XR2244, like the other "The Winslow Boy, 1948" taxi it would probably be mid 1920s as an XR1400 registration dates some time after 1923.

That is if the registrations are correct and not made up by the film studio (there seems to be a similarity in the 'double numbers' used).
