Curiously though, after the people carrier race, Jeremy Clarkson pointed out that the particular Espace that Hammond drove has a V6 engine, and it's even mentioned in the Wikipedia page about the Renault Espace in general. However, when I searched it up, the PRV V6 engine was said to be only featured in the second-generation Espace, and yet the one that Hammond raced in is a first-generation. I can't help but wonder if the Espace that Hammond raced in had an engine swap at some point in its life, or if Renault DOES offer a first-generation Espace V6, but it's not exactly common, so it wasn't documented?
