I had to check why I thought it was a 2009. Don't trust Wikipedia (they illustrate the 2009 facelift with an Australian model that didn't actually get a facelift) but 2009 is right (it's identified by a different grille but only seems to apply to North American markets). Given that it is tagged and registered as a 2007, it's probably safe to say this is a 2007 Sorento wearing a replacement 2009 NA-market grill. -Kurt |

Correction to my previous post - I think we're looking at some sort of regional-specific grill here. The North American single-bar 2009 grill has no chrome surround on the lower half of the grill:![[Image: hq720.jpg]](http://pics.imcdb.org/9554/hq720.jpg) This is confirmed on a 2009 I have physical access to - there's no chrome trim at the bottom nor are there attachment points down there. I rescind my theory that it's a 2009 NA grill, but I'd say it's still a plausible theory that this is a 2007 with either a replacement grill or a regional market grill that has escaped our collective knowledge. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2023-08-29 02:17:07 |

Addendum to what I posted above - these pictures are from Facebook Marketplace listings from Guatemala. The grill is similar, but not identical to the 2009 NA grill.
