Im assuiming that parts of this movie were filmed down under. And i could be wrong, but that bonnet shot of the car flipping/exploding makes that one look like an EF falcon (which didnt have grilles), but im probably wrong, as every other photo shows to EL fairmonts and yes, all falcons/fairmonts built in Australia are RWD -- Last edit: 2011-10-06 16:30:28 |

The film was shot in South Africa, where traffic drives on the left. I don't know if Ford has ever sold Fairmonts in South Africa, but I would assume that the film producers were able to buy them locally as a cheap substitute for an American police car. -- Last edit: 2011-10-06 17:00:11 |

In the 6th picture by antp (the one with the two cars side by side, front-on) the one on the right is an EF Fairmont (different grill). Also, the photos wherein you can see the rear of the car with a single chrome strip across the back, those are also EF's. There is one picture where it's falling off a cliff or something, that's just a Falcon - lack of chrome strip. |
