Peru, VT fire department truck, though I can't find which truck this is. They had a 1948 Mack and a 1970's International, i've ruled out the International, so this may be the Mack, but I can't confirm that. This truck looks too new to be a 1948.

The way the lettering is, on the side of the hood just in front of the door, looks like International - maybe from the early 1950s?

It's probably from the 1950s, since it looks like it has a Civil Defense logo on the side.

If you look on the right you can see it's Engine 22. Engine 22 is currently a 1991 International/Pierce which probably replaced this truck.

Civil Defense logos came out in World War II.
