Revisiting this one - nearly six years later! - I recognise those headlight brackets. They are the same as those used on the American Underslungs but this car is not underslung. |

The wait is over! Finally this car has been identified. After contacting old car experts the answer is... It's a Henderson - manufactured by Henderson Motor Company in Indianapolis from 1912 to 1914. It is not related to Henderson motorcycle company. There were several different models in production and engines of four and six cylinders used. If this is a 1912-1913 5-passenger touring body then it is model 46. In 1914 model designations all changed - it can be a Light Four, Deluxe Four or Model Six. Total production is unknown but there are about five survivors of this brand. Here is a picture of 1913 car. ![]() |
