Now that I have Bux's attention for Mexican cars, perhaps he can be the one to implement the changes I've been calling for for the last 4 years. Night cub definitely isn't sold on my proven theories :D

To reiterate: this is 1986 only as the next year they would use the waterfall grille.

It's not clear which brand this one was sold under as ads just mention Chrysler, so that's what I'd go with, also because it has a "by Chrysler" subtitle under the Dart badge. The letter was no longer used by this time (only on the 83 Dart/Volare K)

Hey, at least it's a less nerve-wracking pool of interest than French "MYs"!

Well, the Focus is a car that I know, that's not the case for this one :D
Anyway your point seems proven, but maybe in the database we use the E to distinguish that from some other models? Tagging @night cub and @dhill_cb7 or any other American admin.

I don't think that'll be necessary, I believe they were the last market to use this name, so if you sorted the Darts by year they would be on the last pages. Besides, by that logic we could start listing brands as Star PL, Star GB, Star USA...

According to the post here on Flickr, the Dodge name was not used from 1986 on:

But, it was still used with the Dart as late as 1985:

But it does seem that they were phasing out Dodge as the make and replacing it with Chrysler from about 1982-1986.
