It is an English 1936 Studebaker ( Studebaker Distributors , Great Portland Street , London W1) Drophead Foursome Coupe built on the Dictator 6 cylinder chassis with body by Salmons.The hood could be fully or half opened .A copy of a period advertising of this car dated june 1936 can be found on page 82 of :" Studebaker Cars 1923-1939 " , Brooklands Books, Enthusiast Publications , Walton on Thames,published in the sixties.Salmons did also coachwork on the President chassis. |
