What do you mean? I replaced the original captures with your picture above. Maybe you just didn't refresh the page and saw the old image. I did the same with the Crown Victoria. |

Perhaps Hyundai will release a Barclay James Harvest or a Supertramp one day??? |
◊ 2010-12-09 17:21 |
I hear that they have some reliability problems. Sometimes you might need to turn it on again. |

Is there a Groan-Out-Loud or a That-One-Was-Really-Awful smiley?? |

Or the MG ZS Atomic Kitten. There was even an associated Racing Team in the BTCC caled Atomic Kitten MG ![]() |

What have these casted chicks http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atomic_Kitten to do with cars or racing cars ![]() Similar with the "Rolling Stones"-edition. When it was released, Keith Richards was slandering, that Mick Jagger never drove VW by its own, except one Westfalia Camper sometimes. O.k., they needed the money. Same as Uma Thurman, who promotes now a car, which is not available in her home-country. Or Mika Häkkinen. When he started to promote this parcel-service: http://www.hermespaketshop.de/google.php it was not possible to send packet to Finland with this company ![]() |

Or looking from the other end of the telescope: Focus, Santana, Galaxie 500 (brilliant band), The Cortinas, REO Speedwagon, Datsuns, Suzanne Vega, del Fuegos, Pantera, Triumph, Chubby Checker, Alice Cooper, The Beetles .... As for the smiley suggestions, close but not quite. however I'll stay quiet in case they get used against me in future. |

OMD you say? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e8QQDcCcmA |
◊ 2010-12-11 17:55 |
My favourite OMD track http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHb-8-eM5II - doubt if it'll convince everybody (or even anybody), but a slight conceptual link to Tesla. 2nd favourite is the only song I know about a chemical refinery http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztRqw1r_fds . |
◊ 2010-12-11 18:18 |
Quite like the second which I'd never heard before. Other OMD tunes I like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNBVH0adLX8 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMkevOKJjnw Dear dear we appear to have gone well off topic... Again *Runs and hides* |
◊ 2010-12-11 18:25 |
The music of OMD gave me the idea of some other electronic classics (@Sir Admin: not really off-topic, it's still about cars ![]() ![]() A propos OMD. When my best friend and me have dismantled K 70-wrecks, we had the ritual, always to let play OMD-tapes. |

Autobahn on surf guitar with slight lyric changes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nHPwS4YeOVA and try and spot every tune in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YC8DR3m5s7g (apparently there's 30 not 16). OMD with a KG http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdz0jas03pc . |

Even some of the songs I knew on that I missed. Did notice All the Young Dudes though which gives me an excuse to post this rarely heard gem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKqFdBr3oZk No Genesis though. The Karmann Ghia is on our base but this car is not: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-mCeEGNbM-U -- Last edit: 2010-12-11 19:09:00 |

Also with musical changes - they include a bit "Barbara Ann" ![]() Strange that the Autobahn-song was taken for scene from a school-canteen. Otherwise: a popular German beer-brand takes "Belfast Child" for their jingle and a (a bit) investigative TV-reportage-series "Latin Lover" of Gianna Nannini... Hmm, I cannot find the clip of a terrible German song of the early 70ies, where the singer drives a Karmann-made VW Buggy. The song is getting better, when you are drunk enough (different than the horror, the singer of Gomselmash's hometown is separating out). -- Last edit: 2010-12-11 19:27:08 |

Totally agreed. Mott were brilliant and Hunter (forgot him for list above) was too. Possibly even better than Dudes - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WKqFdBr3oZk and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0NIrPVd79GE . Dudes sung by its writer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZqY3hiXJr8 . |

Pity they did not extend the idea - anyone for a Chrysler Neon Billy Joel Edition?? |

Just a few minutes ago I saw a pic of the new "Schimanski"-Tatort. The actor Götz George (now 72 years old) crawls out of a smashed VW Golf III "Pink Floyd" |

I prefer a Classic American Muscle Cars but this Hyundai is pretty good looking. |
