There've been a few of these in the same color in recent productions. I wonder if it's the same car: /vehicle_102743-Lincoln-Versailles-1977.html /vehicle_124114-Lincoln-Versailles-1977.html /vehicle_119441-Lincoln-Versailles-1980.html There was also one in an episode of "Heroes" last season. |

And not for a "Ford Guy" like you? |

I'm honestly not familiar with these vehicles at all. I know of the Ford Granada, but not this one. |

The Lincoln Versailles was based on the Granada/Monarch. The one in the photo has the earlier rear roof line and is either a 1977 or a 1978. The '79's adopted a more elongated, formal rear roof line. Beautiful cars! |

I heard that these were a flop for Lincoln... they tried to compete with the likes of the Seville and Mercedes but the car was just too similar to the Granada/Monarch. |

I always felt they looked better than the Seville. Liked the straightforward, formal lines. |
