The red one? Ford Taunus, isn't it?

This is a Taunus, indeed. 1976 onwards.

Although with [TC3] rear lights it's, indeed, a [TC2].

What about a Cortina Mk IV - oficially imported to CS, unlike the Taunus..

Hard to see from this angle. The only visible differences of the Taunus or Cortina TC2 and TC3 wee just the badges (and if LHD or RHD, but even this was different).

The back of this car looks crooked, also the combination of TC2-chrome-bumper and TC3-back lamps is not original, the black back panel neither, so it's surely a car, which was repaired with different parts after a crash.

2 door Cortinas MK4 or 5 were very rare - more common for Taunus TC2/TC3. C-pillar vents are TC2 pattern, so agree Taunus TC2 with later lights and other quirks.

If the Mk4 Cortina was sold in CS - which I'm happy to believe - in real terms it would probably have been German/Antwerp made on a TC2 assembly line in LHD with a different rear badge. I don't think it would have been UK made. The question of whether this car is a Cortina or Taunus is really only about which badge it would have had on the rear panel, not what its trim or equipment was nor where it was made.

 Since what year it was possible for Czechoslovakian citizens to import used cars? In this 1988-movie are more Western cars /movie_95426-Kamarad-do-deste.html , maybe not all of them were official TUZEX-imports.

@dsl: this car above is not trustworthy, as it's obviously repaired with unoriginal parts.

Maybe you guys are right, it could be a Taunus. I found out some uncertainties if the Cortina Mk IV was really available in CS, maybe only as an individual import. New Cortinas Mk III and MK V (limited amounts compared to MK III imports) were available for sure.
