MercedesAMG ◊ 2022-10-31 05:35	This car is a 1986 BMW L7 which we’re sold for only two years 1986 & 1987. The L7 was the highest trim level sold for the E23 in the United States and was part of the “L” luxury Highline vehicles offered by BMW where as the “M” line of vehicles were going to be the Motorsport high performance vehicles. If you watch this movie a quick zoom in on the girl passenger in the vehicle at 22:53 shows the back seat full of shopping bags with the L7 silver gray leather interior and horizontal leather pleating not vertical in the 733/735i models. You can also make out the dashboard is dark gray leather covered with no passenger top dash storage cutout like regular e23 dashboards. I’m currently the very happy owner of a 1986 L7 which nearly fully restored after 2 years of work.
993cc ◊ 2023-09-08 01:10	Confirmed. Seems indeed that only L7's had this interior. Only 3rd L7 E23-generation on imcdb. Also 1986-87 only is almost confirmed by most sites (and classifieds..). (originally listed as a 1983 733i)
