I was hoping it would be a 1903 Ford, but something about that hood gives me a lot of doubts. In the meantime, I think I'll search for some 1903 Fords. |

Many US cars were RHD up to 1910ish - Stutz didn't change until 1923. This car is not as early as 1903. More likely to be an early T. They were all red in late 1908 and early 1909. The Model S of 1907-08 had this type of seating but was on a very short wheelbase - 84" vs 100" for the T. I reckon 1909 Ford Model T. |

It appears to be an anachronism then, since the movie was set in 1903-1904 leading up to the Louisiana Purchase Exposition (aka the St. Louis World's Fair). |
