That's not Alfa, but Fiat-Abarth 750 Coupé (GT?) with Zagato body.

Yes. A similar one is listed as Abarth, on internet some are listed as Abarth-Fiat, some as Fiat-Abarth...

An identical-looking UK-based red RHD 1957 Abarth 750 Zagato Corsa 750 feature in Classic & Sportscar April 2011 issue, with plates 457 XUL, so I assume is same car. For sale - £85,000 - at http://www.dtrsports.com/stockdetails.asp?StockID=3292 with photos of now and in 57 Mille Miglia. Shortened sales description (in case the page disappears): "1957 Fiat Abarth 750 Zagato "Double Bubble" raced in the last Mille Miglia of 1957, #46, finished 3rd in class - 77th overall; one of 20 entered - 14 finished. Entered/driven by Vittorio Gianni, a Turin-based tuner, "Corsa" model with plexiglass side & rear windows. Built by Fiat as a 600 (as all were) in December 1956, aluminium body fitted by Zagato in time for modifications before the race - the crankshaft is dated May 1957. Then sold back to the factory, 2 further owners in Italy; a photo of the car outside the Atom for the Belgium Expo of 1958 was published in July 1958 Quattroroute. Then exported, and is believed 1 of 2 Corsas sold by Tony Crook, owner of Bristol Cars and sole UK Abarth importer in 1950s-mid60s. Converted to RHD and disc brakes all round, probably by UK concessionaires. 1st UK owner sold it in 1965/6, next kept it for 39 years, mostly laid up and in pieces in basements and garages around West London. We bought it in 2005 and restored over 18 months retaining most of original parts, including the dated crankshaft. The original drum brake set-up & wheels, the restored heavily reworked cylinder head and many mechanical spares also available. Probably one of most original double bubbles - even the seats are those it left the factory with in 1957."
DVLA details for 457 XUL (as a Fiat) are:
Date of Liability 01 08 2011
Date of First Registration 01 08 2008
Year of Manufacture 1956
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 767cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status Licence Not Due
Vehicle Colour RED
I think it should be 747cc for the original engine??

This Corsa was auctioned in the UK by Bonhams in 2008, chassis 248883. What is a bit strange though is that it was offered as an "original, right-hand drive" car, while pictures of the car at the 1957 Mille Miglia show that it was LHD.

See my comment above about 457 XUL originally being LHD then converted. And then note that your Bonhams link calls it 467 XUL despite clear photos showing 457. Maybe Bonham's were using a 16-year old kid on work experience that day .....
