They made fun of this on Top Gear, pointing out that it had a 6 litre engine (very economical!). |

Practically Useless. Due to the very oversized (and unsightly) lower front bumper valance, which GM claims to help the Tahoe’s aerodynamics, results in being terrible off-road. The valance is too low to achieve optimum approach angles ... Simply stupid. |

They said they averaged 23mpg...doesn't sound too bad compared to a regular Tahoe. I just don't see why anyone would pay $10-20k more to save a few hundred a year in gas. |

Part of the reason for the price increase is that the Hybrid is lavishly equipped. Possibly the equivalent of a LT trim level or even a Yukon Denali. |
