Whether it's the K-10 or K-20, I'm convinced it's a 1973-79 Chevrolet. |

Looks to be a "Short Wide" (6ft,"Fleetside" bed) so it's a 1/2 ton K-10? But it has a LOT of lift, and 3/4 K-20 axles will swap.I'd have to count the lug nuts? (6 lug=K-10's,8 lug=K-20's on these series) K-20's of this era were also all 8 ft beds,at least, all I've ever seen?? |

I am in contact with someone about this specific vehicle used in the video. She signed title for owner at that time and signed dash. Trying to come up with more info to get as solid legitimacy as I can. Title signed was from state of Tennessee, Year: 77, Make of vehicle: Chev, Model: CKL, Body: PK 8 lugs to comment on your previous comment. Owner had said it was K-10 Year and Model seem to be of correct in year timeframe y’all believe. Unless y’all object to this info or can tell me more about what I listed on title or it having 8 lugs? New to using this site so I would post photos of it now but don’t know how to. Definitely has smaller tires on it now, any guesses of size that would make it puff out as much in that photo? |

With the chart I found to tell details on vin, if the truck is the same as video the chart says this: 1. Chevy 2. CONVENTIONAL CAB 4 x4° 3. C.I.D 350 N.H.P. 165 Carbs 4 BBL 4. 3/4 TON 5. CAB & PICK-UP BOX OR VAN WITH HI-CUBE 6. 7 for 1977 7. Flint, Michigan |

3/4 would be a K-20 though. Might not be the same truck. Owner, per ykur above comment, indicates a 1/2 ton K-10. |

It actually had an 8ft bed but that must have been changed for the video. She is from Illinois as am I only a couple hours away from one another. Now I didn't sell it to her directly but after I did trade it I never saw it again until this video came out |

That is an amazing story, did you have it during the shoot of the video or traded it beforehand? I did talk to the man who supplied the truck for the “All Jacked Up” video shoot in which the truck I bought was used in. He did say that the “Redneck Woman” truck was either in a crash or destroyed so he had to try to replicate that truck for this “All jacked Up” shoot which is why the confusion may come from since similar looking minus lift and wheels. I hope he is wrong about the “Redneck Woman” truck not here anymore and that someone has it somewhere! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2024-05-06 18:36:22 |
