2491tj ◊ 2007-06-18 21:46	masquerading as a fuel tanker its actually a Bedford OYC 3 ton 4x2 Water Tanker, 350 gallon capacity.pre-1943, after 43 it was superseded by the 500 gal. body..the tube like structure above the tank unit is to drape a canvas tilt on, to make the vehicle look more like a GS bodied truck, making it less liable to enemy attack..a throwback to the desert campaign.
