I believe the 88-89 versions of this truck had the seald beam quad headlights rather than the composite ones this truck pictured has. It has to be at least a 1990. |

It´s not a C1500. C-series only had a 5 lug, 15 inch wheels, lower ground clearance than this and had smaller wheels . Look at the C1500 http://www.cstatic-images.com/supersized/MDC/99/2144099/336826883.jpg This one has 6 lug an 16 inch and Silverado trim (according to interior) http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/6683/k2500true.jpg I think, this is an K2500. Yes, it can also be a K1500, but most of K1500 silverados has \"luxury wheels\" (Don´t know it´s name) and 4x4 or Z71 sign on the bed http://www.cstatic-images.com/supersized/DMI/14817/1455D.02.jpg At the end, last guide is, that this truck has the top \"Deluxe Two-Tone\". With silverado trim, top two-tone and six lug steel wheels, it can only be the 2500 Only God knows, if it is C or K. But in my opinion, it´s K2500. I saw a lot of C/K trucks in my whole life and most K2500 before 1992 and after 1988, had 6 lug wheels. For me, it´s finally K2500 |

^This is correct, partly- The truck IS a 2wd "light-duty" C-2500 model. Not 4x4. Basically like a C-1500, but with heavier duty suspension and stronger axles. These trucks used a six-lug version of the 14 bolt rearends that came in the heavier duty trucks. Most 14 bolts had 8-lug axle shafts. These axles are sought after to be swapped into other half-ton trucks that used 10 bolt cover rearends, which are much weaker. |
