1966 Pontiac four door sedan. Can't be sure whether it is a Canadian Laurentian or a US Catalina. |

Probably a Catalina from the spacing of the front bumper bolts. The Canadian cars use a narrower Chevy chassis. |

I never knew that about the bumper bolts...thanks nzcarnerd. |

Only briefly used in a scene. Seen again later in background: ![]() 01:28:29 -- Last edit: 2007-08-08 23:48:02 |

Look at the lettering on the front door, it's a 1966 Bonneville 4 door hardtop (probably the same as the one already listed in this movie with an altered paint...). About the canadian Pontiacs, the full size models also had Chevy style wipers while most US full size Pontiacs (except some Catalinas) had wipers like Buick, Cadillac and Oldsmobile cars. -- Last edit: 2007-08-09 13:52:48 (antp) |

It is indeed a Bonneville: An interior shot is seen in the deleted scenes on the DVD, and there's a "Bonneville" plaque on the dashboard. |

I'd rather vote for 3 or 4 stars, than for just 2, because this car has some special meaning! |

well, in the other scenes it is not really "used", even if it appears in background several times. |
