DKW Sonderklasse 4 cylinder 1939.Engine was a 2 stroke 4 cylinder in open V with the 2 front cylinders of each group being motor ones and the 2 rear cylinders acting as compressors ( Ladenpumpe as on the DKW racing motorcycles).Contrary to other Deeks it had rear wheel drive .It never was a big succes due to poor performance, almost equalled by the 2 cylinder cars.The last I saw was in Spain in 1970 still in every day use. |
