Looking at the level of trim I would think Granada based.

This is the saloon based model, Mk1.

Mk1 stretch limo was available from C-M as the Dorchester only, in saloon or coupe form.

Mk1 & Mk2 was also available as the extended rear legroom Minster.

As far the Mk2 based Dorchester is concerned, this was the base model with vinyl seats and a basic spec more suited to funerals etc presumably. The Grosvenor had cloth seats and a plusher spec more suited to the executive chaffeur driven market. Both models had an options list so each could be made to order to an individual spec.

Mk2 extended rear legroom estate was the Windsor.

C-M called most of their larger Ford based hearses Cardinal.

So shouldn't this be called a Ford Granada Colman Milne as the base car is a Ford Granada and the secondary manufacturer is Colman Milne. A Cadillac stretch limo is still listed as a Cadillac. Someone doing a search for Ford Granada would not find this car in the listing

You won't find a Ford or a Granada badge on any C-M car though. It's a different vehicle altogether, like a Daimler is different to a Jag, despite being the same chassis essentially.

Just seen this on a program about Margaret Thatcher, outside Conservative & Unionist Central Office in 1978-ish, with a Series 1 Daimler XJ (703PF) & a Series 2 Jaguar XJ (what looks like SFW527S or something similar)
