night cub ◊ 2012-11-08 01:51	I'm trying to pin down the year they changed the license plate cutout on the rear door. The early ones had a deeper cutout, and no light bar above. This one is a later model, with the shallow cutout, and the body-colored light bar above the license plate. It's somewhere in the 1988-90 range.
night cub ◊ 2012-11-08 02:27	Looks like 1990 was the year they changed the license plate cutout. In 1991, they moved the "Econoline" badges from the side to the left rear door, above the license plate. Looks like this one has the badge there, so I'm thinking this is a 1991 model.

dhill_cb7 ◊ 2019-05-23 20:39	1989 was first year for the redesigned license plate. Removing Ambulance from extra information as it is classified as one and this is the US. I know overseas Ambulance and Hearse (or equivalent in their respective language) are added the model name. In the US we do not do this.
