This is actually a specially modified GT 40 - notice the bubble in the roof that was fitted especially so that Clarkson could actually fit inside This was the first time he experienced the GT 40 due to his absurd height. |

Gulf livery #9 if genuine would be 1968 Le Mans winner, Pedro Rodriguez/Lucien Bianchi, chassis P/1075. Same car won in 69 with #6 and we have some modern pictures with #6 - so unless people keep changing the number, I smell fish somewhere. Entering as if genuine P/1075. |

I know it's replying to an old post, but Clarkson mentioned that the car he was driving came 4th at 1968 Spa race. |

Which one was the one that ran out of fuel, was pushed into the finish line and disqualified? |

... which makes it P/1084 (Paul Hawkins/David Hobbs, #34) John Wyer Gulf team entry. P/1075 (Jacky Ickx/Brian Redman, #33 - also John Wyer/Gulf team) was the winner. |

This was the first time he experienced the GT 40 due to his absurd height.
