oct 2002 for the episode. Usually model-years start in the middle of the year (i.e. cars models are launched in the summer). So the 2003 CTS was probably already available for sale in autumn 2002. |

Year info used commercially and for most of the car identifications is the model-year, not the built-year. Well they had to make a distinction between the old one and the new one and the company maybe didn't want to wait until the new year. It's a marketing thing, to keep introducing "new-and-improved" models so people will keep buying. Was there much difference between the 2001 106 and the 2002 106? |
