Opel Blitz, same as the truck behind it but with a different body. |

If this is an Opel Blitz, all that remains of it is the front end and chassis. From the windshield on back it's a totally different body. What's the story behind this particular version? Was this done just for the movie? Were there actual Opel Blitzes modified in this fashion in the war? -- Last edit: 2009-07-05 02:57:51 |

It seems to be a Polizeimannschaftstransportwagen (phew!) like /vehicle_65902-Opel-Blitz-2,5-32-1938.html, which has lost its rear side door. |

Isn't that a great language! Having got a fee for speeding on the motorway could be discribed in German as "Ich bin mal wegen des Autobahnhöchstgeschwindigkeitsbegrenzungsübergehungsvergehens bebußt worden".... -- Last edit: 2009-07-05 11:01:47 |

"bebußt"? Das ist aber sehr altertümlich und heute unbekannt. Obwohl: wer weiß, was noch alles im Beamtentum schlummert. Das Wort sollte aber nicht mit dem Bayrischen "abbusseln" verwechselt werden. Auch wenn beides von Polizisten gemacht werden kann... |
