This is a diesel model, identified by its snout. Petrol engined Transits had a flat front, whilst the diesels had this 'snub' nose. You could also identify a diesel by its' death rattle - I know, as my dad had the misfortune to use one from time to time in the '70's as a breadman for Mothers' Pride Bakery when his own van was out of service. -- Last edit: 2017-02-26 00:41:14 |

It's perhaps a type of finishing, since it sports chromed bumpers and hubcaps. Other versions had these items painted cream. |
