This is a Toyota Hummer-clone, maybe there are more...

And another one, I think it matches...:

Hummer should sue Toyota for violating copyright laws.

I would guess that the Thai armed forces held a competition for a HMMWV-like vehicle and these were the entries. Presumably the model we're trying to identify was the winner.

I would say its the Isuzu looking at the front wheel arch.

The four vehicles look like prototypes, non matches the vehicle we are looking for. But further down on the above mentioned page the production vehicle is displayed:

I cannot say if a brand name is given for the vehicle in the text.

So far I could not find any further information about these vehicles.

There are a lot of 'clones' around, even the Hummer/HMMWV is a clone. The first design came from Lamborghini: http://www.lambocars.com/lm/cheetah.htm

actually the HMMWV was not a clone of the lamborghini. The US military had a competition to replace the aging jeep for there military vehicles and both the Lamborgini and Hum-vee were both designed for this competition and AM General one

The Lamborghini Cheetah was lend to the US Military for testing in 1977. It was rejected for not being from a US company (nationalism is quite important in military circles) but tested and later crashed all the same. On the knowledge gained with this vehicle the final draft for the HMMWV was drawn in 1979, which later was met by AM General.

Well, I have posted this picture on a Thai Military vehicle forum. Very difficult typing in Thai, but I have found a translator...

2 people confirmed it as a Mitsubishi Strada 4WD.

So that will it be...

All four prototype models (Ford, Isuzu, Mitsubishi and Toyota) are passed the test.

At the time, the military chose Mitsubishi due to the cheapest.
