from the bands on the headlights and side vents on the engine cover ..i'm sure this is a 1932 model. (models were 50,60,80,90 ...all depending on wheelbase.!) |

This car is wearing a plate that is definitely not French-Indochinese, but still looks real. Behind the scenes: https://www.pinterest.de/pin/477592735453358962/ I think it might be Malaysian? Malaysia does have a border with Vietnam but that is only by sea. It would at least explain why the Citroen is the only car I have been able to find there. EDIT: I'm getting a strong sense it might be from Cambodia. Considering the geographic proximity of Saigon, where the film is set and filmed, plus LHD steering (Malaysia and Singapore drive on the left) and a C for presumably Cambodia (haven't been able to find pictures of French Cambodian license plates) -- Last edit: 2022-08-12 15:51:21 |
