Yes. ADO16 for sure. For the make/model, I do not know if it is Austin, Morris or MG though. |

Where did the year come from? Would have thought it 1970 or so myself. Mk2 |

The Austin America was launched in 1968. In 1969 the bumper overriders were rubber covered. |

Shouldn't this have a made-for USA flag? |

Were the tall headrests introduced before the rubber covered bumper overriders? If not I would suppose these 1969 seats were later installed into a 1968 car. |

Have asked about the over-riders. Although using your therory couldn't someone have swapped over-riders? ;-) |

This is the answer I got from Todd :- "It's not a '68 or a '70. re-read what I wrote." I guess he doesn't like to be questioned :-( |

Sure, but I guess it makes more sense to add newer stuff to older cars, especially safety equipment. Probably he doesn't know himself but didn't want to admit. ![]() Let's keep 1969. If you or I or someone else find more information we can always change it again. |

The shape of the headrests and the recessed reflectors in the side trim identify a 1969 model year car. The overiders with rubber and the side marker lights on the front and rear wings were only added for the 1970 model year. |
