No doubt a Harley-Davidson model EL "Knucklehead" (1000cc OHV). The taillamp says 1936-1938, and the "banjo" fittings on the oil return and crancare vent pipes says "pre-1938". The "Air horn" on carburettor (there is no filter inside) says it is 1937, and not 1936. Without original paint etc. who can tell what it really started out like, but most probably it was as a 1937 model EL. -- Last edit: 2010-06-21 04:35:48 |
