! There is a 1989 Ford Tempo in the background! Somebody HAS to add it! There are plenty Beetles (although this one is very ugly), but not enough Tempos. |

Why was putting Rolls grilles on beetles so popular at one time? -- Last edit: 2006-08-03 20:16:27 |

I have no clue. It certainly was butt-ugly. It definetly makes the Town Car limousines look great. But more importantly, someone HAS to add the Tempo! -- Last edit: 2006-08-03 20:18:18 |

Hééé! C'est pas une 1200, mais une 1303, au vu du pare-brise... |

Could this be raised bumper? Anyway it is Volkswagen Super Beetle sold in our country. |

No rubber edges would make a 1973 (for the rear bumper) |

It's so sad and depressing, that we don't have any more these bizarre clowneries on IMCDb ![]() -- Last edit: 2019-12-26 15:56:30 |

P.S. about the car: the hubcaps were quite popular in the 70ies: aftersales market wannabe Porsche 911 Fuchs alloys looking aluminium junk - which you have lost after a few kilometres. -- Last edit: 2019-12-26 17:02:50 |

I try my best! |

Can you get the exact frame as the current one? |

Yeah, the hard sharp angles and points on that grille and hood (not sure if it's still called that when the boot is in the bonnet) do NOT fit the round shapes of a Volkswagen Beetle. A Volkswagen Thing, hard maybe, but not a Beetle. |

Anyway my comment now looks weird, as someone has switched the picture to one NOT showing what I used for id.... |
