Good find, again! ![]() By 1930 the brand name was only Dodge. In 1928 Dodge Brothers Company was sold to Chrysler by the owner Dillon, Read & Company, and was from then on the Dodge Division in the Chrysler Corporation. |

After investigation I'd say you are right. In 1930 Dodge Brothers and Dodge Brothers Truck names changed to Dodge and Dodge Trucks. Some books I have still use the name Dodge Brothers Trucks for 1932 trucks. Infact I've seen one catalogue which still used the name Dodge Brothers in 1935. |

Rault 983 is right in that the name Dodge Brothers has continued to be used up till 1935.After 35 the marque name was changed from Dodge Brothers to Dodge , though some reference works already mention the name Dodge as from 1933 at least on the light trucks as pick-ups.The truck here being a heavy duty early thirties tanker should be called a Dodge Brothers. After the take-over by Chrysler by 1930-1931 the Dodge Brothers trucks were manufactured in Chtysler's Graham Brothers Division. |
