Dan VT ◊ 2007-06-05 07:25	I question this identification. I have never seen an Oldsmobile with this type of double bumper with a v-dip in the center, or this type of hood ornament.
botchie54 ◊ 2009-04-12 07:27	Dan VT is right this is not a 1929 Oldsmobile it is a 1931 Studebaker 6-cylinder Business Coupe model 54. My reference is Crestline Studebaker book page 173. The grill matches, the hood vents are the same and most important the bumper is a perfect match. The hood ornament is not right but that could be aftermarket. -- Last edit: 2009-04-12 07:56:51

nzcarnerd ◊ 2025-01-26 02:55	Nearly 20 years late, correcting a mistake here. For 1931 the Model 54 was a Six, not a Dictator. The 1931 Dictator was an eight-cylinder car.
